Kirstie Burton, CPA, Partner
I have worked in public accounting for the last six years, most recently as an Audit Manager. I specialize in the insurance, healthcare, and not-for-profit industries. I was attracted to accounting because I wanted to be challenged and learn something new every day. I love working with different companies and organizations to meet their people, see how they operate, and learn more about their business. I received a B.S. in accounting and finance from Regis University and will finish my M.B.A.in Accounting and Finance in December.
Marilyn Alexander Johnson, CPA, Partner
My background is in both public and corporate accounting. Most recently, I have worked with startups in the health and wellness space as both a senior accountant and a controller. During my time in public accounting, I specialized in financial services, healthcare, and nonprofits. I enjoy accounting because it allows me to connect with people on a subject that is vital to the health of the business, and I get to contribute in a meaningful way. I received a B.S. in accounting and finance and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Colorado Boulder. I am a Colorado native who grew up on a working cow-calf operation in Eastern Colorado. I find a passion in agriculture, as well as health and wellness.
